Serves 10 Cooking time 20 minutes Oven 170C; 324F; Gas Mark 3
Ingredients:
20 thin slices cooked British ham 20 asparagus spears 40g (1½ oz) butter 10 hard boiled eggs Salt and pepper 1 ltr (1¾ pt) cheese sauce Skinned and sliced tomatoes
Method:
Wrap each piece of ham around an asparagus spear and arrange in a buttered ovenproof dish. Quarter the eggs and place between the ham rolls; season with salt and pepper. Cover with cheese sauce and arrange the tomato slices on top. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
Serve with a fresh green salad, dressing as preferred.
